How have your breaks gone? We hope you’re all motivated and ready for another semester.

This is a reminder that this is the time to begin enrolling to your courses on Moodle. Enrollment period is March, 11 – 22. Enroll as soon as possible to gain access to your course materials!

Hello!

It is great to see you again this semester. We have now begun the semester and hope you are getting settled in to your classes. You will notice in the list of courses, there are new courses available in ODD semester categories.

Self-Enrollment to the courses will be available on September 24, 2012 until November 5, 2012. No passwords required! Remember to enroll your courses as soon as possible to gain access to  your course materials.

You will find that your lecturers are already providing modules, activities and other exiciting stuff. So go ahead and get a head start (if you haven't already).

We hope you enjoy the new semester as much as we do!

Because teaching online is relatively new, many people don’t know what it is, or how it’s done. Others may have notion of what’s involved, but they don’t know how to get started. And there are many who taught online, but feel that they barely scratch the surface. Perhaps this range of feeling is because the online environment is so different from what most instructors have encountered before.

Based on the above premises, SSE conducted eLearning training for academic staff to be equipped with the following:

1. eLearning concept and eLearning course development
2. eLearning features
3. Quality assurance in eLearning

The training was conducted on 14-16 February 2012, at the Multimedia Lab, SSE.
